haven't updated this in a while, and for this i apologise. here is the pretty much up to date happenings of moi. be warned! quite exciting! wahahaha!

So heres the sitch...i was accepted by all the schools i applied to -School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Massachussetts College of Art, School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (plus re-acceptance at Pratt Institute). So what is the natural thing to do?? GO THERE and see what these places are all about!

long story short, SMFA is it. Museum School is the most magical place on earth. yes, more magical than disney world. we're talking a whole lotta magic.

so as of May 1 (when tuition deposit is due) i will officially be on my way to making my dreams come true- going to art school. and not just any art school! the MUSEUM SCHOOL!

the way i explain it is this- if someone told ME to design an art school from scratch. like, "create an art school, down to departments, classes, academics, scheduling, facility and overall organization. GO!" my design would be EXACTLY smfa. im talking IDENTICAL. you can see why im excited. (if you want great detail, ask. or read the blog. i leave it brief here.)

so the art school situation is as aformentioned. as for present life, im gonna get outta this university situation with a bang... i think ive done fairly well, and in 2 weeks, im taking a uhaul and all my earthly possessions and high-tailing it outta here!

the summer looks pretty great, fun-filled with camp-counseloring and a road trip to Bonnaroo. i got a man that is absolutely the BEE'S KNEES and i cant wait to be able to spend every possible day with him, none of this 3 hours away nonsense. He is quite delightful. Again, here i will keep it brief. The inquiring individual may ask me or consult the myspace. [link]

so anyway, thats the essentials. im working on getting back into photo. Once im home, ill have more 35mm opportunity instead of my sorry point and shoot digital. hopefully ill get some paintings in this summer as well.. cant wait to get back to my "studio" at home!
